At a glance
- If K11 Art Mall is your first stop, look for the signs to Exit D3 at Tsim Sha Tsui Station or Exit N4 at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station. The stations are on different MTR lines but connected by underground pedestrian walkways. Exit numbers may change, or exits may be closed, so check the signs on site and the MTR station map.
- If you’re heading to K11 MUSEA next, return from K11 Art Mall toward Exit N4 at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, then follow the underground signs for Exits J1 and J2. K11 MUSEA’s official visitor information lists Exits J1 and J2 at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station and Exit E at Tsim Sha Tsui Station as access points. The two malls are not connected in a single building, so check the signs on site for the final stretch beyond the exit and whether it is actually covered. Don’t try to force Harbour City into this route.
- Before visiting a museum, check its closed days and last admission, then follow the station exit signs and the building’s directions. Keep a short walk with an umbrella from a nearby exit as a backup, rather than spending too long searching for a closed connection.

Suggested itinerary

Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit D3 or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit N4 → meal at K11 Art Mall
K11 Art Mall → underground walkway toward East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit N4 → signs for Exits J1/J2 → K11 MUSEA
Nearby exit → short waterfront walk or MTR to your hotel
How to fit it in
One rainy-day option is to enter K11 Art Mall through Exit D3 at Tsim Sha Tsui Station or Exit N4 at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, have a meal, then return to the underground walkway near Exit N4 and follow the signs for Exits J1 and J2 to K11 MUSEA. If the final stretch outside is exposed to the rain, use an umbrella; if the warning is severe, wait at the first mall. Add a waterfront walk only after the rain stops.
Reality check
Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station is on the Tsuen Wan Line; East Tsim Sha Tsui Station is on the Tuen Ma Line. Official visitor information lists Exits D3 and N4 for K11 Art Mall, and Exits J1 and J2 for K11 MUSEA. Follow the signs from N4 to J1/J2 through the underground connection, and check the station map for fare-gate locations and which sections are actually open to pedestrians. If you’re traveling with a stroller or wheelchair, look for an elevator route instead of a stair exit.
Allow 15–20 minutes to get between the stations, including time for wayfinding and crowds. Set aside 2–3 hours: 60–90 minutes for an indoor visit or shopping and 45–60 minutes for a meal. Avoid arriving within 30 minutes of the museum’s closing time.
There’s no separate attraction admission fee for the public underground walkways outside the station fare gates. You’ll need a valid ticket to enter the MTR fare gates. Mall visits are free, but budget separately for paid museum exhibitions and HK$100–180 for food or a café.
Station exit stairs and wet tiles can be slippery. Fold your umbrella before using an escalator and hold on to your belongings. During a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Warning, don’t assume underground walkways are a safe sightseeing detour; follow station and facility instructions.
If plans change
Check the map again for the nearest exit and building entrance. If the outdoor stretch is long, eat and take a break at one mall to reduce the amount of walking.
Switch to an exhibition, bookstore, or meal at the mall you chose in advance. If the rain is still heavy, don’t make a long outdoor trip to visit both Harbour City and K11 MUSEA.
Small tip
The route from the end of an underground passage to your destination’s door may be outdoors. Check for station exit closures and elevator status, and don’t assume you can get there without an umbrella.
Final check before departure
- Save the full name of your destination: K11 Art Mall or K11 MUSEA.
- Compare the MTR exit and elevator locations with the building entrance on the same map.
- Check museum closures, ticket reservations, and weather warnings.
Check the MTR station map for exits and elevators, and each destination for hours, closures, and event reservations. Underground connections may vary with opening hours and access controls, so don’t assume the same route stays open late at night.
