At a glance
- Center your visit on one clear reason to go: an event, the rides, the spa, or Koishikawa Korakuen Garden.
- On event days, work backward from the entry time to plan your arrival, then plan your return around the event’s end time and the last train to your accommodation. If there’s no event, pair the garden with just one facility and return to Suidobashi or Korakuen Station before the evening crowds.
- Opening hours and variable pricing differ by facility. On show days, restaurants and luggage storage fill up quickly. Check ticket and storage details for the same day.
- If outdoor facilities close, you could switch to the spa or a museum, but check tattoo, age, and entry requirements first. If you don’t meet the requirements, go to another indoor area.
- If you’re going to a show, check your seat’s entry time, prohibited items, and which exit to use first. You can fit in a ride or garden visit before the show, but if lines get long, skip it and make sure you arrive in time for your ticketed entry.
- If you’re going to the spa, check tattoo, age, closure, and last-entry requirements before booking. Don’t push yourself to go after a tiring show; going on a separate day can also help you avoid wasting money.
- Break down costs into the event ticket, one optional attraction, luggage storage, meals, and return transport. Don’t bundle several attractions based on variable prices or on-site tickets alone; add just one that fits the time you actually have.
- For safety, don’t stop to find your way at an exit immediately after a show. Head in the direction of your preselected station. If you’re with children, decide on a meeting place before entering in case you get separated.
- If outdoor rides close or the spa’s requirements don’t work for you, the alternative isn’t to buy another ticket on the spot. Check Koishikawa Korakuen Garden’s opening hours, or have a meal near the station and head back early.
- Games and shows require tickets for the specific event at Tokyo Dome; Spa LaQua has a separate admission fee; Koishikawa Korakuen Garden requires a garden ticket. Event tickets do not include spa admission. Dining in LaQua’s shopping complex is separate from using Spa LaQua’s bath facilities.
Day by day
Suggested itinerary
See each day's route, highlights, background and stay together in one place.
Check event entry time and exit → choose one extra: rides, spa, or garden → check rules for items and luggage storage
On event days, work backward from the entry time, the event’s end, and the last train to your accommodation. On non-event days, see the garden and one facility, then head back before the evening crowds.
Before the performance ends, check which station has a transfer route back to your lodging and when its last train leaves → wait for the crowds to thin, then head to that station → return to your lodging.
Places and meals
Check the entry gate and scheduled end time for your booked game or show.
Google MapsA separate paid facility where you can spend 3–4 hours bathing and relaxing.
Google MapsAn option for a daytime garden stroll before a show. The garden’s opening hours differ from the hours of evening events.
Google MapsHow to fit it in
On event days, count backward from the entry time to decide when to arrive. If there’s no event, visit the garden and one facility, then return to Suidobashi or Korakuen before the evening crowds build.
Reality check
Depending on the venue entrance, Suidobashi or Korakuen Station may offer the more convenient connection to your lodging. You can wait for the crowds to thin while having a meal after the performance, but first check the departure time of the last train that allows you to make all the transfers to your lodging.
For a performance, arrive 60 minutes before the entry time. Allow a separate 90–120 minutes for the garden or rides. If you also plan to visit the spa, do not try to fit all three into the same day. To avoid the station crowds after the performance, consider allowing about 30 minutes to wait for a meal, but set a return time that lets you catch the last connection to your lodging.
As of 2026-10-04, Spa LaQua’s official information lists adult admission (ages 18 and up) from ¥3,500, with calendar pricing by date. Towels and indoor clothing are included in the basic admission fee. Healing Baden costs an extra ¥1,100 and is unavailable to anyone under 18. Being at the spa at any time between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. incurs a ¥2,500 surcharge. Event tickets are separate. Children ages 0–5 cannot enter. Children ages 6–17 may enter with a guardian by 3 p.m. and stay until 6 p.m.; children ages 6–11 must be accompanied by a guardian of the same gender. Check the official calendar for closures and prices on your visit date.
For safety, follow height and health restrictions for rides and tattoo and age requirements for the spa. In event crowds, keep entrances and emergency routes clear. Decide in advance where to meet if you get separated from your group.
If plans change
If rides or an event are canceled, visit just one indoor facility whose requirements you’ve checked, or end your day.
If outdoor facilities close or you’re tired, choose just one indoor facility after checking its requirements, and head back early.
Small tip
Opening hours and variable prices differ by facility. On show days, nearby restaurants and luggage storage fill up quickly.
Final check before departure
- Before leaving, check Tokyo Dome City’s official operating information and reservation requirements.
- Save the round-trip route to Suidobashi and the time of the last train back to your accommodation.
